DFM REVIEW / FIELD NOTES

What a DFM review actually flags

The drawing details that can stop a sheet metal or welded part on the floor.

A useful review looks beyond whether the model closes. Hole-to-edge distance can leave too little material after cutting. Bend relief can be missing at a corner. Weld access can be blocked by a flange. A tolerance can be precise on paper yet impossible to verify in the planned setup. Each issue needs a location, the manufacturing consequence, and a recommended fix.
